Former First Lady Melania Trump delivered remarks Tuesday morning at a global summit centered on her Fostering the Future Together initiative, underscoring the importance of protecting and empowering children in an increasingly digital world.

The event convened first spouses from 45 nations, alongside senior Trump administration officials, leaders from the technology and education sectors, and select organizations focused on youth development.

In her remarks, Trump emphasized the need for responsible innovation and greater awareness the challenges young people face online, particularly as artificial intelligence continues to reshape education and communication.

The initiative has also taken a proactive approach to student engagement. Last August, Trump launched a nationwide AI competition inviting students to “unleash their imagination” and explore emerging technologies—an effort aimed at fostering creativity, critical thinking, and American leadership in the next generation of innovation.
