On Wednesday, Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance addressed crowds of supporters in Shelby Township.
Vance traveled to the battleground state as Kamala Harris and her running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) hit the campaign trail targeting multiple battleground states.

Michiganders are feeling the effects of Border Czar, Kamala Harris’ crisis first-hand. Democrats in Michigan are prioritizing ludicrous programs for illegal immigrants, welcoming them into communities across the state. They’ve made sanctuary areas across the Wolverine State in places like Lansing, Ingham County, Kalamazoo County, Kent County, and Wayne County. Under Governor Whitmer, Michigan’s Department of Labor & Economic Opportunity, entices residents to house illegal immigrants by offering $500 per month to residents who house so-called “newcomers,” in their homes. It’s not just illegal immigrants flooding into the state. Migrant crime rings are terrorizing Michigan’s communities and instigating well-orchestrated robberies and attacks on homes and creating a new wave of crime.
Not only are Michiganders suffering because of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden’s created border crisis, since they took office, inflation in Michigan has reached 19.9% and Michigan families are having to pay $1,002 a month more. The great people of Michigan have spent $9,524 more on transportation, $4,342 more on energy, $3,866 more on food and $3,969more on shelter on average since January 2021.
President Donald Trump and Vice Presidential Nominee, Senator JD Vance are devastated to see the people of the great state of Michigan suffer because of Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, and other dangerously liberal Democrats. On Tuesday, Harris officially revealed Walz was her choice for vice president.
“I am proud to announce that I’ve asked @Tim_Walz to be my running mate,” Harris officially announced on X. “As a governor, a coach, a teacher, and a veteran, he’s delivered for working families like his.”
Trump told Fox News he is “thrilled” by the liberal pick.
“He’s a very, very liberal man, and he’s a shocking pick. I could not be more thrilled,” Trump told the “Fox & Friends” co-hosts during an exclusive interview.
