Former President Donald Trump plans to speak on the economy, inflation, and manufacturing during his visit to Potterville, Michigan on Thursday.

For nearly four years, the Harris-Biden economic policies have put unnecessary stress and pressure on Michigan families. Michigan’s inflation is at 20.5% — forcing families to pay an additional $1,031 a month. Since Kamala Harris took office, Michiganders have spent $9,819 more on transportation, $4,464 more on energy, $4,020 on food and $4,183 more on shelter. That’s thousands of dollars Michiganders should have been putting aside for their families’ peace of mind.

Michigan cannot afford four more years of dangerously liberal policies from Kamala Harris. Take a look at Kamala’s war on energy, which has already begun destroying Michigan’s auto-working industry. Stellantis and Ford Motor Co. have been forced to close two major engine plants, Stellantis recently laid off over 2,000 workers at a truck plant in Warren, and General Motors laid off 1,300 workers in Detroit. Kamala’s proposed EV mandate would cost Michigan a minimum of 25,000 auto jobs, destroying lives for a policy that 63% of Michiganders don’t agree with.

President Trump knows that Michiganders can’t afford another four years of leadership that frivolously spends our hard-earned money. President Trump will Make America Affordable Again and make sure that more of our money stays in our pocketbooks. He’ll stop the war on energy and protect Michigan’s auto industry, preserving the jobs that are the backbone of the Great Lakes State.

Trump is scheduled to deliver remarks at 3:30 from Alro Steel.
