Reality television personality and former Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt has revealed that he met with President Donald Trump at the White House, posting a photo from the Oval Office.

Pratt shared the image on Instagram on Tuesday, showing himself seated alongside one of his young sons, President Trump, and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles.

“I will never stop fighting for my community,” Pratt wrote in the caption.

Pratt did not explain the purpose of the meeting, and neither the White House nor his representatives have publicly provided details.

Although Pratt posted the photo on July 7, Trump spent that day in Ankara, Turkey, attending the NATO summit, meaning the meeting almost certainly took place before July 7.

Campaign Ends in Primary

Pratt entered the Los Angeles mayor’s race but will not advance out of the June 2 primary election.

The Nov. 3 general election will instead feature incumbent Democratic Mayor Karen Bass against fellow Democrat and Los Angeles City Council member Nithya Raman.

Throughout his campaign, Pratt focused heavily on public safety, homelessness, and drug abuse, arguing that Bass had failed to reverse the city’s decline since taking office in 2022.

Trump Backed Pratt After Election

Following Pratt’s exit from the primary, Trump publicly questioned the election results.

In a Truth Social post on June 8, the president claimed the outcome was impossible, writing:

“Not possible for Spencer Pratt to have lost the L.A. runoffs after the big lead he had. 3rd World Nation. Rigged Elections!”

Trump’s comments came shortly after he ended a contentious interview on NBC’s Meet the Press, where he sparred with moderator Kristen Welker over California’s election security.

From Reality TV to Politics

Pratt first rose to national fame as one of the breakout personalities on MTV’s The Hills, where he became known for his outspoken and often controversial persona during the show’s six-season run in the late 2000s.

His mayoral campaign marked an unusual transition from reality television to politics, echoing Trump’s own path from television celebrity to the White House.

Whether Pratt’s White House visit signals a continued role in politics remains unclear.

For now, the Oval Office photo has fueled speculation about Pratt’s political future, even as Los Angeles voters prepare for a general election between Bass and Raman later this year.
