Hamas has released all living Israeli hostages from Gaza, ending a 737-day ordeal after President Donald Trump’s peace deal that secured their release after two years of war.

The remaining 20 captives were handed over to the Red Cross in Gaza early Monday morning.

The first group – Gali Berman and Ziv Berman, aged 28 and 27, Matan Angrest, 22; Alon Ohel, 24; Omri Miran, 47; Eitan Mor, 25; and Guy Gilboa-Dallal, 23 – were seen in the first released images standing and speaking to Israeli soldiers inside Gaza.

They are being transferred to a hospital to be reunited with their families.

The remaining 13 were also released to the Red Cross and are being transferred to a local military base.

Hostage families erupted in cheers as the news broke.

The release is part of a complex exchange under which Israel will free 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and receive the remains of 28 hostages who did not survive captivity. Israeli officials said not all remains are expected to be returned immediately.

Trump arrived in Israel just as the handover began.

Israelis and Gazans alike celebrated into the night, chanting President Donald Trump’s name after he announced a peace deal to bring hostages home last week, with chants in Israel calling for him to be awarded his much-coveted Nobel Peace Prize.
