Donald Trump’s running mate Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) is prepping for an event in his hometown of Middletown, Ohio.
The remarks come less than a week after Trump announced Vance as his running mate and the day after President Joe Biden announced he is ending his 2024 re-election campaign.

Vance is scheduled to deliver remarks at 1:30 pm at his alma mater, Middletown High School. Doors open at 10:30 am.

Following the event Vance will depart from Dayton, Ohio on Trump Force Two at 3:30 pm for another rally this evening in Radford, Virginia.
According to a campaign announcement, Senator Vance will speak to how Crooked Joe Biden has failed the great people of Virginia. Biden’s policies are costing hard-working Virginia families more than ever at the grocery store, the gas pump and with energy costs. In fact, since taking office, Bidenflation has cost the average family in Virginia nearly $28,000.
“Virginians aren’t just paying the price for the Biden-Harris policies with their wallets, but also with their lives. Crooked Joe Biden and Cackling Co-Pilot Kamala Harris’s pro-criminal and open border polices have spiked crime rates and drug overdose deaths as criminals and drugs flow freely over the border and into Virginia communities. In 2022, 1,951 Virginians were killed by fentanyl poisoning,” the statement concluded.
Doors open at 3 pm at the Dedmon Center at Radford University and Vance is scheduled to deliver remarks at 6 pm.
