On Tuesday morning, President Trump signed a proclamation from the Oval Office related to the Presidential Fitness Test.
Last July, Trump signed an executive order to re-establish the test, which was replaced in 2013 with the Presidential Youth Fitness Program, which emphasized living an active and healthy lifestyle. The order also directed the newly developed President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition to develop school-based programs that reward achievements in physical education.
