President Donald Trump urged everyone to pray for Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, who was reportedly shot at a Utah Valley University event on Wednesday.
“We must all pray for Charlie Kirk, who has been shot,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “A great guy from top to bottom. GOD BLESS HIM!”
Bystanders reported seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.
Kirk, 31 and the co-founder of Turning Point USA has reportedly passed away following the deadly shooting.
“The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead,” Trump posted. “No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!
Vice President JD Vance posted on X, “Say a prayer for Charlie Kirk, a genuinely good guy and a young father.”
A Utah Valley University (UVU) spokesperson told Fox News the suspect that was initially in custody has since been released.
UVU Police are currently investigating in conjunction with the Orem Police Department, Utah Department of Public Safety and the FBI, according to the spokesperson.
“It is with the tremendous sadness and shock that Charlie Kirk, who was invited by the student group TPUSA, was shot at about 12:20 when he began speaking at his planned event on the Utah Valley University Orem Campus,” the school wrote in a statement. “We are asking those still on campus to secure in place until police officers can safely escort them off campus.”
The campus was immediately evacuated and remains closed until further notice. Classes have been cancelled.
Our sympathy to Charlie’s family and friends and all of us who loved what he did for our youth. Since the media never told them the truth and brainwashed them with their leftist crap, Charlie was brave enough to speak out about the FACTS that the youth never heard before. God bless his work and may this movement continue to grow in honor and in memory of Charlie.
The way that our radical left, liberal democrats are acting is like nothing I have seen in my 77 year old life. There is no excuse for this deadly behavior which has been caused by the likes of or Congressional leaders who really do not belong in office. People like Maxine Waters and like ohters to lie and ensite deadly radical action to cover up her own greed and ignorance are what do it. Followers of these kind of people march blindly thinking that their chosen foul leaders know it all and want to be good little soldiers to do the nation a favor by killing those that oppose their beliefs is rightous. Its not and is reminisent of the early NAZI movements prior to WWII. In my opinion the radical left democrats have committed so much crime, self enrichment scemes, cheating, lying, and treasonus acts I am bewildered as to why they have not been arrested by the FBI and prosecuted by DOJ, until I heard how those organizations had been pilfered with their own people. What we see to day is only the tip of the iceburg, as I am sure the corruption has spread it tenticles far and wide in our government. I can only hope and pray that the direction of our nation changes, those responsible are held accountable, and we end up with a nation on even keel again with truth and justice equal for everyone under our ORIGINAL Constitution and Bill of RIghts.
You can darn well believe that the shooter or who ever contracted it, is one of the radical liberal democratic followers feeling he is very patriotic when in actuality he is nothing but a warped coward and killer.

Today is the anniversary of 9/11 a terrible tragedy that took almost 3,000 American lives.
As we remember and cry for those souls let’s remember and cry for the almost half a million Americans who have been slaughtered in their own country, typically by their own countrymen Americans
the murder rate average in the USA is one every 40 minutes according to FBI figures.
So today when everybody’s remembering 9/11 I pray you also remember the half a million Americans who have been killed basically by other Americans since 9/11 occurred. Senseless murders.
We will mourn a great man, a man with courage, Charlie Kirk. Someone who has been able to touch the American youth and inspire them.
Someone who dedicated his life to service to others. His work will continue on. Life Will go on. The news cycle will pass. People will say what a tragedy.
But it means nothing absolutely nothing until we stop the outrageous rate of murders in the US as something that is acceptable.
It’s time to truly bring law and order back. If someone murders another person in Cold blood then they deserve the death penalty. And not a long luxurious time in jail appealing appealing appealing.
When you’re caught on tape murdering someone you need to be put to death. When are you when you are caught assassinating someone, you need to put be put to death.
Most mental illness in the USA is drug-related. And we start our kids out on drugs from the time they are just months old and shoot things into him that parents don’t even know what it is.
So to say that somebody was mentally ill and they murdered someone is just not a defense anymore. If their illness cannot be cured then they must be put to death, because there is no rehabilitation. And they will murder again.
